Sr. Project / Delivery Manager

HYBRID | Full-Time

Responsibilities:
  • Provide solutions addressing client goals while maintaining alignment with both IT department and industry best practices.

  • Manage a portfolio of infrastructure and non-infrastructure transformation projects spanning several lines of business and technologies including but not limited to cloud solutions (AWS, GCP, Azure), modern digital services, 3rd party vendor solutions, and IT-based software applications.

  • Participate in establishing procedures, practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the IT organization.

  • As needed, participate and/or drive feasibility studies, vendor selections, and proposals for evaluation by appropriate IT and departmental stakeholders.

  • Provide leadership for the organization by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities, and delivering project milestones.

  • Develop and manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks, issues, status reporting, artifact management, and project closing.

 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS) or related field with 3-5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent in IT infrastructure operations and support.

  • 8+ years project/program management with medium to large technology projects and 2+ years in technology modernization/transformation projects.

  • 4+ years technical delivery experience, ideally in cloud-based and modern digital architectures.

  • Strong problem-solving demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and delivery excellence.

  • Ability to effectively work with both technical staff, business process owners, and leadership.

  • Ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously and independently.

  • Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down business and technology organizations.

  • Proficient in the use of MS Office especially Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Highly competent in estimating, planning, tracking, and reporting project status, while managing change requests, and project scope.
